“On Wednesday the Governor is going to give his annual budget address and I want to see the governor give us a very real account of what the shape of our state is.
We cannot continue to look at the big picture with rose colored glasses. We have to focus on common sense reforms and cuts to both Medicaid and Pensions, our state’s two largest allocations. I also want to see the administration promise to implement the more than $1 billion in Medicaid reforms that both sides of the aisle already passed. We have to sit down and make the hard decisions now; we can’t keep pushing this off or worse trying to borrow our way out of debt. This is Not working.”
