Burr Ridge, IL…House Republican Leader Jim Durkin is partnering with the People’s Resource Center in DuPage County in hosting a Back to School Clothing Drive. Items collected will be used to help families in need in preparation for going back to school.
Donations of new or gently used clothing will be accepted between July 13th and August 10th, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at Representative Durkin’s District Office, 16W281 83rd Street, Suite C in Burr Ridge.
“Back to school can be a very expensive and stressful time for many families. We will be collecting clothing items of all size ranges for children ages 4 to 18. I encourage you to come by my district office to drop off any clothing items you may wish to donate. If you need help bringing in the items, members of my staff will be available to assist you. Thank you in advance for your generous contributions,” said Durkin.
All donated clothing items will be turned over to the People’s Resource Center in DuPage County for distribution to area families.
