House Republican Leader Jim Durkin (R-Western Springs) on Thursday, July 20th, presented his Ovation to Business Award to Right Fit Sport-Fitness-Wellness of Willowbrook. Owner Suzanne Gray and her staff of fitness professionals operate an all-inclusive fitness and wellness training facility, and offer results-oriented programs for individuals based on their needs.

“Suzanne and her staff of 12 college educated fitness specialists are committed to developing, promoting and delivering safe and cost effective fitness and wellness programs. They provide individualized attention to clients and even offer programs off-site. The Right Fit team is very involved in the community and is a partner with the ProActive Kids Foundation, a non-for-profit that is dedicated to reversing childhood obesity,’ said Durkin. “Right Fit is an outstanding business deserving to be recognized for the work they do to help others.”

 In addition to their work with the ProActive Kids Foundation, Right Fit training specialists speak and volunteer at national state, and localfitness conventions and community events; work with the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in Willowbrook to offer free seminars on topics like back pain; and provide fitness training to special needs youth and adults through the Ray Graham Hanson Center just to name a few of their volunteer activities.

Right Fit is hoping to further expand its business. Last year, Right Fit opened a satellite location in LaGrange that now employs 6 employees and two interns.

The Ovation to Business Award was created to recognize outstanding businesses in the 82nd District that focus on sustaining and growing jobs as well as being involved in the community. Leader Durkin’s Ovation to Business Advisory Committee select the local business to be presented with the award based on applications submitted on their behalf on a quarterly basis.
