Hinsdale, IL….House Republican Leader Jim Durkin recently presented his Ovation to Business Award to Independence-4-Seniors Home Care of Hinsdale. Owners Mike and Joan O’Brien have been providing quality care and assistance to older adults since 2002 throughout Western Cook and DuPage Counties.
“Mike and Joan and their employees work closely with individuals and their families to customize services. Their mission is to ensure loved ones are able to maintain their dignity and independence in a safe environment while receiving the care they need. In addition to their business, Mike and Joan are extensively involved with the charitable organization Aging Care Connections of LaGrange. They are most deserving of this award.”
Independence-4-Seniors Home Care is a state-licensed home care agency that helps older adults maintain a safe and healthy lifestyle by providing day-to-day care and assistance in any setting that is considered their home. The business is family-owned and currently employs 150-160 caregivers.
The Ovation to Business Award was created to recognize outstanding businesses in the 82nd District that focus on sustaining and growing jobs as well as being involved in the community. Leader Durkin’s Ovation to Business Advisory Committee select the local business to be presented with the award based on applications submitted on their behalf on a quarterly basis.
