Springfield, IL….The 2015 Jobs Fair hosted by Representative Jim Durkin, Senator Christine Radogno and Representative Ron Sandack on Tuesday was a huge success.

“We had 120 local employers on site and 1494 resumes were collected by job-seekers. By the end of the three hour event, 216 individuals had been interviewed and 264 provision/firm job offers were extended. It is estimated that as many as 375 individuals will be hired as a result of this jobs fair within the year,” said Durkin.

In addition to meeting with employers, workshops were available to help job-seekers with preparing a resume and tips on how to interview successfully.

“I want to thank everyone who participated and made today’s Jobs Fair a huge success. We look forward to doing it again next year,” Durkin concluded.
