“Today budget bills were presented and passed by the House Democrats which included increased spending and pork barrel projects. I will not support a budget which increases the deficit and adds new spending. The Democrats are passing a budget before passing meaningful pension reform. This is simply backwards. If we continue down this road of “business as usual” it will further exacerbate the state’s budget problems and increase the backlog of bills.”
